When Supreme Home Care were introduced to Mr and Mrs Stansbie, they were having a really difficult time. Supremes’ Care Manager Amy Hutchings recall,’ Although Mrs Stansbie had been out of hospital some time, she had none of the equipment in her home to make her life easier. Once we had the right equipment in place, we were able to help her to do more for herself and she’s now done so well’.
Mr Stansbie said ‘I’m so grateful to Supreme Home Care, they came in to us like superwomen, helping us obtain the equipment and then showing us how to use it. For while my wife was confined to her bed, she wasn’t able to eat or drink without help, but she now has a chair she is able to use and we can now sit together and keep each other company.’
‘Getting our clients to be as independent as they possibly can is what we are all about and Mrs Stansbie has made remarkable progress’ said Amy, ‘Mr and Mrs Stansbie have been married for 63 years and so it’s important we help them both to stay well and together in their own home despite Mrs Stansbie’s illness’.
