Have you ever taken the advice of a relative or friend when making a significant purchase? Most of us have bought a product or service because our Mum or our best friend has one and they think it’s great.
Following the same principle, Supreme Home Care has had recent recruitment success with is ‘friends and family’ initiative. The Company has introduced a scheme for staff to recommend a member of their family or a friend as a possible new recruit.
Care Manager Amy Hutching said; ‘This scheme has been a real success, staff would not recommend anyone they did not feel would do a good job so we have recruited some really good staff as a result of this initiative. New recruits tend to have a really good understanding of the work we do and most importantly the standards we expect because they have talked about it with someone who is already doing the job’
Carly Davis was introduced to the company by Wendy Smith, her Mum. Carly said ‘Mum has worked for Supreme Home Care for years and she has always enjoyed her work and she has great respect for Amy, the Care Manager. When I was looking for work Mum, suggested introducing me to the Company. I’m really pleased that she did. I’ve received really good training support and I’m now working the hours that I want, when I am able to fit them in with my family commitments.’
